It has been my
privilege to serve the citizens of Rutherford County for 15 years. My experience within
the department includes working in detention, patrol division, a member of the F.A.S.T.
Team and Marine Patrol. I am currently assigned as a supervisor and a substitute in the
SRO Division.
Sergeant Brad Harrison began his career with the Rutherford County
Sheriff's Office on February 28, 1989, as a Detention Officer. A the age of 19,
then Officer Harrison joined the Patrol Division and two years later was made a Field
Training Officer within the Patrol Division. In 1996, Officer Harrision joined the
School Resource Officer Division and was assigned to LaVergne High School for the next
three years. In 1999, Deputy Harrision was promoted to Sergeant. In addition
to his supervisory responsibilities, Sergeant Harrision is currently assigned to serve
numerous Elementary K-5 Schools and Northeast Group Supervisor.
Since graduating from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in
June, 1990, Sergeant Harrison has continued his training in numerous areas and spent four
(4) years as a member of the Felony-Arrest-Search-Tactical (F.A.S.T.). Advanced
