The Communications Division provides a vital link between deputies in the field and citizens of the county.  The main functions of this department are to answer the phone lines (9-1-1 lines, ring-down lines and emergency fire phone lines), and to dispatch emergency personnel as needed while operating several radio frequencies simultaneously.

From barking dog complaints to homicides to fire calls, our highly skilled dispatchers process vast amounts of information that funnel through the communications hub at one time.  In-depth training helps to keep Communications working at tip-top performance, providing county residents and law enforcement officers a life-line 24 hours a day.
