The Board of Directors meets the first Monday of each month at 6:15 p.m.   It is a dinner meeting at City Café.  Interested persons are invited to attend.

Recycle Rutherford is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday May 22 at Old Fort Park.

Rutherford County and TN State residents may bring old paint, batteries, pesticides, herbicides, household cleaners, other household chemicals, and fluorescent light bulbs for safe disposal. In addition to household hazardous wastes, home computers, computer peripherals, and televisions will be accepted for safe disposal and recycling.

The waste collection is held in conjunction with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.

       Recycle Rutherford is a volunteer organization dedicated to increasing recycling in Rutherford County. To volunteer or request more information, please call 687-3497 or 615-895-8023

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STATE BUDGET CUTS  THE HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION WILL ONLY BE HELD ONCE A YEAR IN THE FUTURE.
