Chief Mike Beach - Police Chief, Mayor of the Town of Smyrna's Appointee

Chief Steve Lindsay - Police Chief, Mayor of the City of LaVergne's Appointee

The Board is made up of nine members.  The Mayors of Eagleville, LaVergne, Smyrna, and Murfreesboro, or their appointees, hold four of the nine board positions.  The remaining five members are comprised of the County Mayor (or his/her appointee), the Sheriff, the Director of the County Ambulance Service, the Chief of the Murfreesboro Fire Department, and a citizen appointee of the county Commission that is not associated with any emergency service. 

Meeting dates are scheduled a year in advance and advertised in the local paper.  If any special meetings are called, those dates are advertised in the paper prior to the meeting.   All meetings are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted.  The March meeting includes a public hearing on the budget.
