Rutherford County EMS

Adult Medical Protocols

Revised: February 08, 2007

Protocols may be used provided that the EMT-IV or Paramedic has been appropriately trained and credentialed in the procedure and is currently approved to practice as a Rutherford County EMS patient care provider. The protocols are designated with the practitioner level in the heading of the protocol. At the time of development of the protocols, great care was taken to make certain that they were compatible with generally accepted standards of care.
