The primary objective of the Rutherford County Workhouse is to house inmates sentenced from General Sessions, Circuit Court & Chancery Courts of Rutherford County. It is the mission of the Rutherford County Workhouse to house these inmates in a safe and secure manner and to utilize as many of the inmates as possible on worthwhile work programs to benefit Rutherford County.
