Ernest G. Burgess The County Mayor's Office directs, organizes and coordinates County government activities and oversees the day-to-day operations of the County. This department provides for the delivery of services to our customers -- the citizens of Rutherford County, Tennessee. The County Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the County. In addition to the operations of the County Mayor's Office, the following departments are directly supervised by the County Executive: Ambulance Service, Building Codes Department, Building Maintenance, Engineering Department, Emergency Services Coordinator, Animal Services, Juvenile Youth Services, Landfill, Planning Department, Vehicle Maintenance, Wheel Tax Officer and Workhouse. |
