The Emergency Management Agency is responsible for coordination of the disaster mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery activities within Rutherford County. This includes the coordination of public and private emergency services providers, contingency plans development, training, and public education to save lives and protect property from the effects of major emergencies or disasters.
