William Patterson's 1818 Murfreesboro Maps

       These maps are in our vertical files and are the result of William Patterson's diligent research.  The first is the original plan of the town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee as laid off by William Lytle.  Patterson used the 1878 D. G. Beers & Company Map as his base for this map.  The second is a hand drawn map showing who first purchased some of the lots laid off by Issac Hilliard.
