1829-1841 Grand Jury Records

            This is book 41 from the Miscellaneous Book Collection.  Transcribed by Donald Detwiler in January of 2003.  These records are for the Rutherford County Court, noting those who were called to sit in grand jury duty.  It is not known if this listing is for the Court of Pleas or the Circuit Court. This grand jury book provides little information, as it consists mainly of lists noting who sat for the jury, and for what court term. The lists are alphabetical with dates noted to the side. If a position, such as attorney, was noted that position will be listed to the far right.
